As a member of the American Livebearers Association, you enjoy a number of benefits. Our flagship publication is the Livebearers Journal. This print and mailed publication is only available to our paid ALA members and is more than worth the cost of membership alone. Livebearers is an all-color, gloss-quality, digest-format journal featuring great original articles by members and noteworthy hobbyists, as well as ALA-translated works from our sister livebearer clubs around the globe. A vast amount of knowledge is tucked away inside the pages of each issue. And unlike the internet, all Livebearers content is reviewed by a team of esteemed technical editors and scientists.
The Livebearers Journal is published quarterly for ALA members in March, June, September, and December. Deadline for submissions is the 1st day, 2 months prior to publication date, space permitting. Submissions can be eMailed to the Editor. Views and commercial references herein are those of the authors and do not necessarily represent the opinions and endorsements of the authors, editors, or officers of the American Livebearer Association.
Permission to reproduce, distribute, or publish any content within the Livebearers Journal requires expressed permission from the Editor.
